Your Future Role
As Group Tax Manager at Odevo, you will take on a broad and project-driven role, ensuring effective and harmonized tax management across our growing group of subsidiaries. You will lead all tax-related matters. This is a key position where you will manage both tax reporting and broader tax issues, diving into specific subsidiaries while maintaining an overarching view of the group's tax structure. You will work closely with the M&A team to follow up on tax-related findings and ensure they are addressed in a structured manner.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage global tax compliance, including corporate income tax, VAT, and other relevant taxes.
- Be part of M&A tax activities.
- Develop and implement tax planning strategies to optimize the Group’s tax position.
- Provide expert tax advice and support to internal stakeholders, such as local finance teams and senior management.
- Collaborate with external advisors to support the group’s growth strategies and ensure compliance with applicable tax laws.
- Stay up to date with international tax law changes and assess their impact on the Group’s tax position.
Required Qualifications
- Several years of experience in a similar tax role, preferably within a multinational company or a Big 4 accounting firm.
- Strong understanding of international tax laws and regulations.
- Experience in managing tax compliance for corporate income tax, VAT, and other relevant taxes.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in fast-growing organizations, where tax functions must adapt to support growth strategies.
