About the role
This is a unique opportunity to be a driving force in shaping the future of the global residential property management industry, contributing directly to its success. As our Head of PMO, you will play a central role in executing Odevo’s Value Creation Program (VCP). Working closely with Odevo management, Shared services and Operating companies, you will establish systematic ways of working and ensuring alignment with strategic priorities, providing visibility of progress, next steps and risks. In parallel, you will identify challenges and roadblocks in specific initiatives and step in to help find solutions and direction forward.
You will be responsible for establishing and managing a robust portfolio of strategic value creation initiatives starting from our long-term business plan. This includes scoping initiatives, securing resourcing, defining clear metrics, tracking progress and providing guidance and support to the teams executing each initiative. You will also lead the governance and reporting structure for the VCP, including heading the VCP Steering Committee with our owners, CVC and Fidelio.
This role demands a proactive and highly organized individual with strong leadership ability, able to inspire and motivate teams, while also possessing the will to roll up your sleeves and tackle challenges head-on. Your transformation and change management skills will be essential as you dive into projects when needed, providing hands-on support to steer them towards success. You will report to our COO.
Key responsibilities
- Strategic Alignment: Ensure all VCP initiatives align with Odevo's overall strategy, and priorities.
- Portfolio Management: Manage and prioritize the portfolio of initiatives to allocate resources effectively and maximize impact, stepping into specific initiatives and resolving issues as needed
- Governance and Reporting: Establish governance structures and provide regular updates on progress, risks, and outcomes to key stakeholders.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks across all initiatives, escalate critical issues, and implement mitigation strategies.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the central point of contact for stakeholders, ensuring alignment, collaboration, and effective communication.
- Performance Monitoring: Collaborate with Odevo Finance to track and report on key metrics to ensure initiatives deliver measurable outcomes and drive value.
- Ways of working and standardization: Contribute to defining and promoting consistent project management practices to ensure delivery efficiency.
- Continuous Improvement: Regularly evaluate and refine PMO processes and approaches to improve outcomes and adapt to organizational needs.
