About the role
The Accounting Manager will oversee the management and oversight of the accounting team, month-end closing, financial statement review, and audits. This position will also assist with streamlining accounting processes, improving financial reporting, and perform advanced accounting tasks. Responsible for excellent communication between the accounting team, operations, and ownership.
- Client based accounting and reporting
- Supervising a team of accountants
- Drive performance and develop talent
- Execute accounting department initiatives and projects
- Ensure compliance with third-party client accounting policies and procedures
- Facilitate monthly generation of client financials

Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting
- 8 years or more of related experience required
- 3+ years of hands-on managerial experience required
- CPA preferred
- Self-driven motivator who takes initiative on projects with a strong ability to understand and solve problems
- Strong process and system focus
- Strong time management; must be able to shift and reprioritize workload for self and team
- High level of accuracy; attention to detail; Strong reconciliation skills
- Professional conduct when interacting with subordinates, peers, clients, and upper management
- Able to exercise discretion when handling sensitive information
- Strong adherence to company policies and procedures
- Excellent management and supervisory skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment
