About the Role
We're seeking a Senior UX Designer in Stockholm, to join the global Odevo design team in shaping the future of proptech!
This is a unique opportunity to step into an industry that’s in an early-stage tech phase where you can have a significant impact. We consider customer experience a clear and critical differentiator closely connected to our strategic ambition to transform the global property management industry. You’ll join a global design team (7 designers) led by the Head of CX&UX in Sweden.
Your main work will be as a key contributor in the Stockholm based product teams that focus on services and products within the asset management domain. Here we look into areas like how we can utilise data about the property assets to support data-driven decision making and predictive maintenance.
The initial focus is on developing and launching a product in Florida, but asset management is to be supported across all our markets - the Nordic, UK, and Southeast US markets - likely requiring travel for research and testing in all regions.
Even though this role's main focus is on designing the experience of products within the Asset Management domain, you will also work with the global design team to develop design operations, design systems, raise CX maturity, and support knowledge sharing across our three markets.
Your key responsibilities will include working with activities along the full range of the design spectrum, for example:
- User Research: Lead UX research, including observations, interviews, and usability testing to understand user needs and pain points.
- Product Discovery: Driving discovery activities together with product owners and the teams.
- Interaction Design, Wireframing & Prototyping, Visual Design: Translate research insights into actionable design solutions, user flows, wireframes, and prototypes to effectively communicate and test interaction and design ideas.
Apply existing visual identities and develop them when needed.
- Cross functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, BAs, and stakeholders to ensure designs align with business goals and technical feasibility.
- Customer and Employee Target Groups: Design both customer-facing services (for clients and residents) with a high focus on usability and intuitiveness, and internal employee-facing tools (for property manager, accountants, on-site staff) with a strong focus on expert needs and efficiency.
- Service Design/Outside-In Perspective: Develop user journey maps and personas to enhance organizational user understanding.
- Applying Design Arguments: Connect everything we design to customers’ needs and business goals and relentlessly communicate the connection between them to the organisation.
- Design Evaluation: Measure customer satisfaction and conduct usability testing to iterate designs, using quantitative and qualitative feedback mechanisms.
- Design System: Create and maintain design libraries, components, and design patterns for our different products in close collaboration with front-end developers including accessibility aspects
Who You Are
You have a deep passion for services with a digital core, but at the heart of your work is a genuine interest in people. Their needs and behaviors guide your thinking and help shape purposeful design. Striving for quality is second nature to you, and you always aim to deliver your very best—without seeking prestige. You're a true team player who thrives in collaboration. With strong communication skills, you enjoy sharing research insights that foster empathy and build a deeper understanding of users’ contexts, needs, and motivations.
Experience
- 10+ years as a UX Designer or similar role.
- Bachelor's degree in design, HCI, or related field.
- Proficient in Figma and design systems.
- Experience in agile teams and building design systems in Figma and code (e.g., Storybook).
- Expertise in UX design for web, desktop, and mobile, with a focus on efficiency.
- Skilled in CX/service design and UX research.
- Property management and proptech experience is a plus.
