About the role
Capitol Property Management is in search of a motivated individual to manage a portfolio of community associations.
- Manage contracts & financial management
- Work with Board of Directors, homeowners, and vendors
- Balance community needs with community budgets
- Perform property inspections
- Track and follow-up on property issues
- Solicit bids for maintenance and/or renovation projects
Who You Are
- Effective Communicator: You have excellent communication skills, enabling you to interact seamlessly with residents, board members, and vendors, ensuring clear and open lines of communication within the community.
- Detail-Oriented Organizer: You possess strong organizational skills and attention to detail, allowing you to efficiently manage multiple tasks, oversee property operations, and ensure compliance with community regulations and standards.
- Proactive Problem Solver: You are adept at identifying and addressing issues promptly, using your analytical skills and resourcefulness to implement effective solutions that enhance community satisfaction and operational efficiency.
Experience
- Must have CMCA certification, at a minimum
- Previous experience as a Community Portfolio Manager
- Familiarity with relevant laws, regulations, and best practices to ensure compliance and governance.
- Demonstrated ability to negotiate and manage vendor contracts
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Excellent relationships management skills
