The Opportunity

We're seeking a DevEx Engineer to build and evolve our Internal Developer Platform, transforming how our engineering teams deliver value to millions of residents and property owners. This is a pivotal role where you'll shape the developer experience for our entire product organisation, eliminating friction and empowering teams to ship faster and with more confidence. You'll be part of our Tech & Product Development team in Stockholm, working in a hybrid environment that values both collaboration and flexibility.

What You'll Do

• Design and build our Internal Developer Platform from the ground up, creating golden paths that make complex deployments simple.

• Build self-service infrastructure provisioning tools that get developers from idea to production seamlessly.

• Create developer tools and CLIs that our engineers love.

• Partner with our development teams to understand pain points and deliver solutions that drive real impact.

• Document and evangelize best practices that scale across our global engineering organization.

• Collaborate with architects and teams across multiple markets to identify synergies and opportunities.

Who You Are

Must-haves:

• 2-4+ years building backend systems and developer tooling in fast-paced environments.

• Strong experience with Python, TypeScript, and cloud-native technologies.

• Deep knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, and modern cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).

• Experience with Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD pipeline development.

• You've experienced the pain of poor developer tools firsthand and have strong opinions about fixing them.

• Excellent communication skills - you can explain complex systems simply and write documentation for developers.

• You are comfortable diving into any part of the SDLC and quickly owning the entire SDLC for tools that you think bring the most value.

Nice-to-haves:

• Experience with Go or Rust for performance-critical components.

• Background in building Internal Developer Platforms or significant DevOps transformations.

• Frontend skills for building developer portals and dashboards (React, Next.js).

• Experience in rapidly scaling engineering organisations.

• Contributions to open-source developer tools.

Location & Working Style

This role is based in Stockholm with a hybrid working model. We're remote-friendly but find great value in connecting with our teams in person. The ability to spend face-to-face time with the team in Stockholm is important for collaboration and culture building.
