Client Procurement Manager
Financial Services
We are on a mission to become the leading international force in residential property management. What we do matters to billions of people in their everyday lives.
Residential real estate is the world’s largest asset class, and for most families, buying a home is the single biggest financial decision they will ever make. For too long, residential property management has fallen short of homeowners' and residents' expectations, and the industry is ready for change. Odevo was formed to make that change happen.
In just six years, Odevo has grown more than 70-fold, establishing us as the leading international player. We are more than 12,000 people across the US, the UK, the Nordics, Germany, Spain, Portugal, Mexico, and Italy building Odevo. Together, we aspire to break new ground through innovation and cultivate a workplace where we help each other succeed, where ideas matter more than titles, and where kindness is a strength.
By combining the power of people and technology, we set a new standard for how homes are managed. Our technology-enabled services simplify living for residents and create a better experience for property owners and boards.
Our ambition is to continue our fast-growing journey through new customers, service expansion, and by partnering with great companies that share our mindset and ambition, both in existing and new markets.
As we continue to grow, we stay true to who we are, challenge unnecessary bureaucracy, and keep decision-making close to our customers.
If you share our mindset and ambition, we’d love you to join us and help accelerate our mission together.
The Market
The Swedish housing association (Bostadsrättsföreningar) market comprises just over 1.1 million apartments distributed across approximately 30,000 active housing associations. Each association effectively operates as an independent real estate company, with its own board, budget, and ongoing operating costs for electricity, broadband, maintenance, inspections, repairs, and renovation. Total annual spending in this segment is estimated at SEK 35–40 billion.
Nabo and SBC professionally manage around 30% of Sweden’s housing associations. This creates a unique position within the market, one defined by scale, deep insight into association needs, and significant commercial leverage across recurring services such as utilities, maintenance, and construction.
Despite these volumes, procurement in the majority of housing associations is characterized by a lack of structured processes. Board work is carried out on a voluntary basis, often without procurement expertise, which means that contracts are signed without systematic market analysis, terms are rarely renegotiated, and supplier performance follow-up is largely absent. As a result, Swedish housing associations year after year pay a premium for services they are structurally dependent on.
Odevo is uniquely positioned to address this challenge. With more than 8,000 managed housing associations in Sweden, SBC and Nabo together possess one of the strongest negotiation positions in the market. By combining this scale with data-driven analysis, strategic procurement expertise, and structured processes, we create the conditions to achieve terms and savings far beyond what an individual association can accomplish on its own. The Client Procurement Manager role is established to realize this potential.
