About the role
The Senior Community Manager oversees a portfolio of homeowner associations, serving as the primary liaison between Boards of Directors, homeowners, vendors, and the management company. This role is responsible for ensuring exceptional service, strong client relationships, financial oversight, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Manage a portfolio of HOA communities.
Attend and facilitate Board meetings.
Prepare agendas, board packets, and management reports.
Oversee budgets, financial reviews, and reserve projects.
Manage vendors, maintenance programs, and capital improvement projects.
Ensure compliance with governing documents and applicable laws.
Respond to Board and homeowner inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
Support client retention and satisfaction initiatives.
Who you are
You are an experienced HOA/community management professional who builds trusted relationships with Boards, homeowners, vendors, and internal partners through responsive communication and strong follow-through.
You are highly organized and comfortable managing multiple communities, meetings, budgets, projects, and priorities while maintaining a high standard of service and operational excellence.
You are a proactive problem-solver with strong financial, vendor management, and governance knowledge, able to guide communities confidently while supporting long-term client satisfaction and retention.
Experience
3+ years of HOA/community association management experience.
Strong knowledge of HOA operations, governance, and financials.
Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
CMCA required (or obtained within 90 days); AMS/PCAM preferred.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and build strong Board relationships.
