About the role
Odevo is on a trajectory of rapid growth, and to execute on our ambitious M&A agenda we are expanding our Strategic Growth team with a new Manager to focus on our European expansion. This is a unique opportunity to join our journey and realize Odevo's strategy by identifying and executing value-creating acquisitions.
Collaborating closely with the Group Management Team, Fidelio, and CVC, you will support our future growth by identifying, analysing, telling our story, and welcoming new companies to join Odevo in existing and new markets.
As a Manager in the Strategic Growth team, you'll collaborate closely with the rest of the Deal Team, providing essential support throughout the entire M&A lifecycle. From initial research to closing and integration, you'll gain invaluable experience in all aspects of deal execution. As you learn, you will quickly gain additional responsibility to develop your skillset, supported by the experienced colleagues at Odevo.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate deals from origination through to completion:
- Develop a pipeline of opportunities across our focus regions, conduct company research, prepare comprehensive kickoff materials, and assist with financial and valuation analysis
- Build and maintain relationships with potential target companies
- Assess the target's business and its strategic value
- Negotiate and structure deals, including, with support from external advisors, drafting relevant legal documentation
- Conduct due diligence and financial modeling
- Manage the M&A pipeline, track target companies, and maintain associated documentation.
- Conduct competitor deal research and tracking to inform competitive bidding strategies.
- Build detailed financial models, incorporating operational and cash flow forecasts and valuation analysis
- Prepare and present business cases/deal memoranda internally
- Manage or support post-acquisition integration (depending on the pipeline at a given point in time)
