About the Role
Odevo US is seeking a dynamic and experienced Vice President of Sales to oversee our Developer Services growth initiatives. This leadership role is pivotal in driving our growth strategy by building and nurturing relationships with homeowner developers and securing new business opportunities. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales leadership, a deep understanding of the developer ecosystem, and the ability to craft and execute strategies that align with our business objectives with national and large regional developers like Lennar, Pulte, DR Horton and others. This role will build and nurture relationships to engage strategic developers that want to create form a partnership with Odevo operating companies throughout the U.S. The ideal person will facilitate client meetings, develop and respond to requests for proposals, create staffing models and pricing analyses to properly service the customer.
Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy focused on developer services, aligning with Odevo's overall business goals.
work with our Operating Companies to establish relationships and transition new accounts to the OpCos.
Establish and maintain strong relationships with developers, understanding their needs and challenges to offer tailored solutions.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities, expanding Odevo's presence and influence within the developer community in the key markets that we serve.
Lead, mentor, and partner with our operating companies’ business development sales teams, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and potential areas for growth.
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and customer support, to ensure a cohesive approach to meeting developer needs.
Set and monitor sales targets, ensuring the team meets or exceeds these goals while maintaining high customer satisfaction.
Provide regular updates to senior leadership on sales performance, market insights, and strategic initiatives.
Who You Are
Strategic Sales Leader: You have a proven track record in sales leadership, with a deep understanding of the developer ecosystem and the ability to drive growth through strategic partnerships with national and regional developers.
Relationship Builder: You excel at building and nurturing relationships with homeowner developers, engaging them to form lasting partnerships with Odevo operating companies across the U.S.
Results-Oriented Strategist: You are skilled in crafting and executing strategies that align with business objectives, including facilitating client meetings, developing proposals, and creating effective staffing models and pricing analyses.
Experience
Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in sales, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within property management or developer services industry.
Proven track record of building and maintaining relationships with developers and securing significant business deals.
Proficiency in CRM software (HubSpot preferred) and sales analytics tools.
Strong understanding of the developer ecosystem and the ability to translate technical needs into business opportunities.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing market conditions.
Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a sales team to achieve ambitious goals.
