BRF Finans | Odevo
BRF Finans is a newly established company within Odevo focused on providing financial services to Swedish residential housing associations (BRFs). Through SBC's and Nabo's management portfolios, we manage approximately 30% of Sweden's housing associations. This gives us a strong position to create value within lending, insurance, and savings. At the same time, we are in a growth phase where we are building both our offering and ways of working from the ground up.
About the Role
The Swedish BRF market comprises over 30,000 associations with significant financial needs – yet today lacks the structure, transparency, and negotiating power required to fully unlock value. This is a unique opportunity to drive real change.
As Business Development Lead, you step into a key role helping to build an offering that is largely without comparison in today's market. You work closely with the VP Financial Services Sweden, helping to set direction, test new approaches, and turn ideas into tangible business outcomes.
The role combines strategic thinking with operational execution. You drive analysis, initiate and coordinate projects, track business performance and KPIs with a clear mandate to act: you design products, drive development, coordinate with the tech and AI team, own the go-to-market strategy end-to-end, and continuously optimise processes and customer journeys. You also play an important role in establishing and developing partner relationships to strengthen our offering and market position.
This is a role for someone who wants to be involved early, think differently, take real ownership, and genuinely build something – not just manage what already exists.
Areas of Responsibility
Business Development
Coordinate and align product, design, and go-to-market strategy
Drive and coordinate initiatives within BRF Finans and Financial Services Sweden
Ensure progress, quality, and stakeholder alignment
Manage multiple parallel projects with clear structure
Business Analysis & Performance
Own and track the business's KPIs – and translate them into insights that drive concrete decisions
Develop models, scenario analyses, and decision-support materials for both operational and strategic choices
Ensure leadership and steering groups have the right insights at the right time – through clear and well-structured reporting
Go-to-Market & Operational Execution
Drive customer communications
Ensure the right message reaches the right customer at the right time
Convert initiatives into concrete delivery with a clear focus on quality, pace, and results
Support to Lending & Insurance
Support lead generation and pipeline follow-up
Identify areas for improvement and drive process development
Contribute to effective customer journeys and increased conversion
Your Profile
We believe you are commercially driven, analytical, and self-motivated. You thrive in a role where you take ownership, work close to the business, and move between strategy and operational execution. You are a clear communicator, comfortable in customer-facing contexts, and have a genuine interest in how data, market dynamics, product, and customer journeys connect to drive growth.
Experience
3–6 years of experience in a business development role – such as Business Developer, strategy consultant, or commercially focused product owner
Experience driving initiatives from idea to execution: structuring offerings, aligning with relevant stakeholders, and following up on results
Strong analytical skills and proven ability to work in a data-driven way to support business decisions
Experience in project management and handling multiple parallel workstreams
Ability to combine strategic thinking with operational execution
Background from a management or specialist consultancy, growth-oriented startup/scaleup, or product company is a merit
Experience from banking, insurance, the property sector, or BRFs is a plus
